Janet Archibald 1941 – 2018

Peacefully, on May 8th at Kensington Hospice,Toronto, in her 77th year. Daughter of the late C. Roger and Margaret Archibald. Sister of Gillian de Auer (Peter), David Archibald and Susan Archibald, (predeceased). Cremation has taken place. At her request, no service is planned. Jan lived with Crohn’s Disease throughout her life. If desired, a donation in her memory to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation to help find a cure for this disease would be appreciated.

To the family of Janet,
I was saddened to hear of Janet’s passing. I had the pleasure of working with her at Burnhamthorpe Collegiate. She was a wonderful and caring teacher and always the consummate professional. Many, many students benefited from her patience and the incredible knowledge she had of her subject area.
