Robert Steven Adrian Glazer

With heavy hearts we had to say goodbye to you today.
On December 9, Robert Steven Adrian Glazer, in his 59th year, was finally able to rest after his long and courageous fight.
First and foremost, he was a loving and fiercely devoted father. Daddy will be forever missed by his daughter Adrien and his sons Jack and Sam. They were the greatest joys of his life.
Steve was an avid golfer, loved his Leafs, had a passion for cooking and a definite wanderlust. His personality and humour could fill a room.
A generous and caring Brother, Uncle, Son, Nephew, Cousin and Friend.
He was loved by everyone’s life that he touched and he will be deeply and profoundly missed by so many.
” In losing him I lost my greatest blessing and comfort, for he was always that to me”
If you wish to make a donation in Steve’s memory, please consider Sick Kids Foundation.
Cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of Steve’s life will take place at a later date when we can all safely come together to honour him in the way he would have enjoyed.

Steven was the first person who took a chance on me and gave me a prosperous path to a fulfilling career, he shaped me to understand that important things in life are worth working hard and fighting for and he was a great role model. May you continue to spread joy and happiness in heaven. To your family my sincerest condolences for your loss.

I had the privilege of working with Steve for a few years. He was an intelligent, compassionate, and sarcastic man and honestly one of my favourite managers that I’ve ever had. He always gave people around him the opportunity to grow and succeed; he got to know the people he worked with and always checked-in on them; he was always on the side of the little guy. I was truly saddened to hear about his passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family, especially his children; whenever he spoke about them he beamed with pride and joy. May he rest in peace.

I met Steve in 1992 at Joe Rockheads, He was the best boss I’d ever had.
We quickly became friends reading now magazines at the host stand.
I went to his wedding with Kandy. Babysat Adrien when she was a baby….
Followed him to the Hard Rock Cafe were we worked together for many more years.
Later we stayed touch randomly over the years, surprise calls here and there..
Unfortunately I never met Jack and Sam , but Steve talked about the boys lovingly.
It’s truly heartbreaking to hear of Steve’s passing. He was an amazing person and true friend.
My love to Adrien , Jack and Sam, Kevin, Dave and the entire family.
