Peter and his family were members of St. Aidan’s Anglican Church in The Beach when I was the Parish Priest. They were also near neighbors. Peter was a good friend and strong supporter. We had a lot of fun together.
It is with great regret that I and my wife Bonnie cannot attend the funeral as we have a family funeral at the same time.
I remember him with thanksgiving in my prayers.
Rest eternal grant unto him O Lord, and let light perpetual shine upon him.

I remember playing cards with Peter at ABYC and at my place. He always had a smile on his face and did not care whether he won or not. Peter always spoke fondly about everyone, especially his family. It was clear how much his family meant to him. His gentle friendliness and helpful manner will be missed.

My condolences to Peter’s family. Unfortunately, I will be away and unable to celebrate his life. He used to be around ABYC a lot and we talked now and then. I feel sad he is gone. He was one of us.

We were sorry to miss Peter’s memorial service. We have very fond memories of spending time with Peter on Silver Birch, at St. Aidens and even white water rafting on the Ottawa river. Our warmest regards and condolences to Jenn and Chris. Joe and Sharon

We all have such fond memories of time spent with the “Balmy Beach Bums”. Our dad, Dave Simon, would pack us up, stop at the market and head to visit the Batsons. We were treated to a great day and stories from their youth. We had a great visit with Peter at Dave’s 70th birthday party. Thoughts and prayers to all of you, Nancy Susie and Peggy Simon

Condolences to Peter’s family. We remember Peter very well. He helped us establish our RESP’s right from the beginning. Jason and I appreciated his level of care and concern for his clients. We’ll never forget him.
