David (Sumo) Colin Andrew Routley
David (Sumo) Colin Andrew Routley passed away on June 10, 2023 in his 58th year, after a brief illness.
Dave was an avid sports fan and he particularly loved his Toronto Teams. His biggest passion was following the Toronto Maple Leafs. Hockey had always been a big part of his life from playing in his youth to coaching AAA for many years.
Dave was also a huge dog lover and his dream was to own land and run a doggie daycare. He would often post pictures titled “Me and my bitches”
Dave was much loved and will be sadly missed by all his friends and family.
Dave is survived by his sister Andrea(Sandy), predeceased by brother Miles(Apryle), and parents Don and Nancy. Dave will be lovingly remembered by Dianne and family as well as nephews Derek, Dylan(Alyssa), Randy(Kim), and Tyler(Hillary Anne).
Private Ceremony will be held at a later date.

I was watching the NHL draft the other day , and was thinking of you throughout it . Remembering how we would get together at BP to watch it. You always saying to draft a Canadian kid when they would draft a Swede or Russian . Well Sumo I am sure you was watching in Heaven buddy. But they drafted an Ontario boy this year . (U probably had something to do with that ) .
I hope my Mom is cooking you some . ZITA Burgers as you called them when I described them to you with onion soup mix .
