Mrs. Joy Girvan passed away peacefully in Toronto,Canada on Friday June 2nd. Leaving behind a legacy of loved ones who cherished their beloved ‘Grandy’. Daughter (PG) Margaret Cooke, son Christopher Girvan, daughter-in-law Sabrina Girvan, beloved and trusted confidant sister June Jackson, sister Carol Jackson, Christopher Cooke, her ‘loves of her life’ her Grandchildren Kristina Cooke, Samantha Buchanan, Adam Cooke, Lee Girvan, Joseph Girvan, and her two Great -Grandchildren, Tyson and Aries, her many relatives and dear, close friends.

Sincerest condolences to the family of Joy Givan. I was deeply saddened to hear of her passing. I worked with Mrs. Girvan for many many years in the Training Department of Mutual Life where we had fond memories. Mrs. Girvan was Joy to work with. May her soul rest in peace.
