Glenda Diane Dollimont McGrath

April 4, 1971 – January 31, 2021
After a long battle with cancer, Glenda Diane passed away January 31, 2021 at Providence Healthcare in
Toronto. Born and raised in Labrador City, NL, she spent most of her adult life in Toronto. Predeceased
by her father, Albert McGrath and mother, Sheila Dollimont McGrath. Left to mourn are her sister,
Gerona McGrath, and several dozen cousins and friends. Special thanks to the staff at Birchmount
Hospital in Scarborough and Providence Healthcare in Toronto, to her dear friend Patricia Shears and all
her friends in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, especially Barry Minshull who sang to her
over the phone when she was in hospital, and to Dana Purcell-Pilgrim for being Glenda’s lifelong friend
and mobilizing other childhood friends to get in touch before she passed. Glenda’s remains have been
cremated and a ceremony of remembrance will be arranged in the near future. Donations in Glenda
Diane’s name can be made to your local SPCA, food bank or the charity of your choice.

Her and I dated and were together as an item and we had a friend in common. I thank her for the two kittens she brought to my old apartment. Om namah Shivaya
