Ian and I, first met at my office where he used to work on Saturdays, until I left the job. Even so, Ian would wish me on Christmas and stayed in touch.
We got along right off the bat as he was simply an open, kind and funny person (with all his hilarious expressions and acts). He always use the share YouTube videos of his all time favorite singers on his phone and with much enthusiasm he use to describe Nova Scotia (which influenced me to plan my trip there). Occasionally, we use to treat each other with coffee.
Ian had a compassionate heart. I could see it right through him. Also, Ian had given me a card with a holy quote regarding Mother Mary. Such a holy person he was!
He is forever etched in my memory. Rest in peace my friend. I am happy I met you in this life and you are in a better place now, until we meet again. Prayers and condolences to the family of Ian.
