Jean Elizabeth (Geldart) Pepperdene

Jean Elizabeth (Geldart) Pepperdene July 18, 1931 – June 17,2017
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Jean Pepperdene a month before her 86th birthday. Jean was raised in Sussex, NB by her late parents Alan and Minnie (Wortman) Geldart and is predeceased by her sisters Dorothy and Eleanor and son-in-law, Bob Stewart.
Jean is survived by Richard (Dick) her husband of 63 years. Lovingly remembered by her children , Deborah Stewart (friend Dave), Sandra Iacovetta (Tony), Jo-Ann Pepperdene (Kathy), Susan Baiden (Larry), Brenda Heon (Kyle), her loved Grand Children – Cheryl (Bill), Andrea (Saad), Melissa, Stacey, Michael(Sarah), Alexandria, Samantha, Bailey and her Great Grandchildren -Evelyn, Lily, Aya, Sarah and Koston, Brother Gerry Geldart (Kathy) and also remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
Jean (Pepper) was a rock. She had a successful career in the banking industry. A strong beautiful woman with a love for life and family, the Toronto Blue Jays and her dear friends – Jean and Flo and childhood friend Lois. At age 85 she could do all her banking on line, text and keep in touch with her family and friends on facebook. She loved paddling her boat up at Mole End in Muskoka, fishing and having a little fun at a Casino spending her birthday money. Her cabbage rolls, apple crisp and lemon pie were the best!
Jean’s wishes were that there will be no visitation or funeral services. Family and friends are asked to remember her well.

A Nana like no other, you will be missed but never forgotten. You always called when I needed you too even if I didn’t know it and NO ONE will ever be better at picking out the most perfect birthday cards, every. single. year!!! We danced, we laughed and we had mini adventures, either by mistake or on purpose we managed to have fun. I will always cherish my time with you and keep the memories close to my heart. I love you Nana Jean Xoxo

Dear family, I know you miss her physical being, but know that Nana/Jean is still very close, and will remain so throughout your lives. She will always be in your memories and in your hearts, and her energy will come to you when you will hear her laugh or kind words. I sincerely hope that your sadness at her passing will soon be replaced with the wonderful memories of the times you shared on Earth. She remains here in Spirit and soars around you, sending you love and comfort.
