Jerome Francis Redmond

May 28, 1946 – June 01, 2023
Jerome Francis Redmond of Avondale, Newfoundland, aged 77 years, passed peacefully away at Scarborough General Hospital in Toronto, Ontario on June 01, 2023. He is predeceased by his parents, William and Pauline (nee Costello), and brothers, Billy and Don. Left to mourn are his children, Darlene and Darrell, sister Agnes Furey (Harold), brothers, Brian, Ken (Hazel) and Bob (Lilly), former wife Anita, partner Susan, special cousin David, his nieces and nephews, and a large circle of family and close friends.
Jerome was a dedicated and loving father, stalwart big brother, and patient and kind partner. He was an avid member of the Royal Canadian Legion for many years, loved to dance, and never could resist a good joke. Always the life of the party, he never shied away from attention. He found a new lease on life with karaoke, the Bee Gees being his personal favourite.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of Centenary and Scarborough General Hospitals for their care in keeping Jerome comfortable during his final days.

So much love being sent to you all. Uncle Jerome, from my memories, was always kind and fun. From him, came two of my favourite people – Darrell and Darlene. So sorry for your loss and all the very valid feelings that come from it. Much love to you as well Aunt Anita – a loss is still a loss, even after these past years.
Much love to all of Uncle Jerome’s family and friends. May you be comforted by good memories.

Many a good old field hockey games on the old hill.

Keep them entertained in heaven until we all meet up again one day ( sticks in hand for a rematch)

I shall remember Jerome as a cheerful man smiling and laughing. This is what I can recall from childhood. Thinking of my cousins and aunt at this time.
