John Marsden
I am saddened to announce the death of my father, John David Marsden. John sadly passed away on July 19th, 2023 in his residence in the city of Toronto after a long fight with his declining health. Despite his health issues, John was one of the most positive and joyful people you could hope to have the pleasure of meeting. He was always the first person to offer the shirt off his back to anyone in need and the last to leave if someone needed a hand. Everyone that met John had nothing but great anecdotes and positive experiences to share about him from always saying a heartfelt hello, to selflessly offering his umbrella to others.
As per the family’s request, no funeral or public memorial service will be held.
John was predeceased by his mother, Maureen. John is survived by his father, Jeff; sisters, Carol, Claire and Cathy, brothers; Jeff, Jamie and Jason; son, Casey; and many nieces and nephews including his favorite neice, Khyla.
John Marsden, you’ve left your mark on this world through your kindness to others. You will be missed immensely and you will never stop being loved.

I was so sad to hear of John’s passing. You’re right…he had a lot of struggles with his health issues.
You have written a beautiful memory of your Dad; I’m sure he would be so pleased with your commentary.

I have many fond memories of John from our younger years. He was kind, generous and liked by many. He had a heart of gold!

Casey your Dad gone to soon back in the day he built me a fence for my home and to this day it’s still standing so I always remember him when I look at this fence…very talented guy fly high John RIP
