Laufey Hart
It is with great sadness we announce that Laufey Hart (nee Gudmundsson) aged 97, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2020.
She was predeceased by her son Dennis R. Cook and her husband William F. Hart.
Her parents Pall Gudmundsson and Susanna Gudmundsdottir immigrated from Iceland.
Laufey was a veteran of the Royal Canadian Air Force. She later enjoyed working for many years at Fran’s Restaurants.
Laufey and her husband enjoyed many years on their beautiful property in Comberemere.
Laufey always enjoyed celebrating every occasion and many cherished memories bring a smile.

Well I heard through third party information that my Grandma Sue passed away. What a shame for me to hear this way. Disappointing how minimalist that side of the family took on honouring such an amazing woman and her life. I will miss you dearly Sue and I hope you were treated properly the last few years of your life.
