Melanie Mitchell
Melanie Mitchell died in Toronto on October 9th with her sister by her side following a lengthy illness. Daughter of the late Ilene Mitchell, and John Mitchell of North Bay (Kim). Remembered by her sisters Jenny (Don), Janice (Charles) and Kerry, and her niece and nephews. Devoted to Trevor until her last breath. Melanie was whip-smart and funny, brilliantly talented and complicated. A nurturer of gardens and a collector of strays, she blazed a trail that was often hard and always uniquely her own. May she now rest in peace. Her family is deeply grateful to the palliative team at Hennick Bridgepoint in Toronto for their care and compassion.
