Monica Crosdale June 12 ,1943- April 20 , 2020
Our hearts were saddened when receiving the news of the passing of our dearly beloved, Monica (also known as “Ma Jean” by friends and family.A woman that lived a thousand lives and had a million stories for all of them. The definition of a free spirit and the centerpiece of her family.
She will be deeply missed by her sister Jenny Collins, her daughters Janice Lee, Donna Chapman, Sandra and Charmaine Pryce, her sons Harold Lee, Lloyd and Andrew Pryce, along with her 24 grandchildren, extended family and friends from Toronto and Jamaica.
As a mother of 7,she worked many jobs as she started a new life for her family in Toronto working many jobs in the service industry. Monica work in the hospitality industry for 30+ years. She was a hard worker and did all she can to provide for family.
After retirement, she enjoyed going back to Jamaica and spending time rebuilding our home she loves so much. Her wishes were to have all of her kids and her grandchildren in the house at the same in Jamaica.
Monica had a vibrant energy, and wherever she went her presence was felt. Her family and coworkers can attest to her undeniable charm. An ultimate rebel, you couldn’t tell her nothing about anything. It was her world, we just lived in it.
She was not shy to tell you what’s on her mind at any given time. Her extensive vocabulary was more than highly proficient, knowing more curse words than most people. She loved four letter words as much as she loved her food.
Monica leaves behind a lasting and undeniable impression, forever in the hearts of those she loved.
We wish to Thank all the outstanding Physicians,Nurses for their kindness, compassionate and exemplary care during Monica time in the hospital.
