Donald Lenord Thomas Ostler January 21, 1932 – November 11, 2021

Don passed away peacefully at home in his residence at Delmanor Wyndord on November 11, 2021. He is predeceased by his wife Joyce, brother Raymond and sister Lorraine.  After travelling the world for a decade serving his country in the Royal Canadian Navy Don returned to Toronto where he and Joyce settled down to raise a family.  Don worked for the IAO for 30 years before retiring and focusing on his passion for golf.  When he could no longer play golf he could be found watching golf on TV.  He loved to read and sing and was always encouraged to read more …

Kirsten Munro courageously fought a long and challenging three-year battle against one of the most relentless opponents on the planet – glioblastoma. She began her well-earned eternal rest on Sunday, January 9, at the age of 59.   Kirstie was an accomplished scholar, whose highest academic achievement included obtaining her Ph.D. (A.B.D.), and held teaching positions at Western University, Queen’s University, the Thames Valley District School Board, and the Toronto District School Board. A resident of North Leaside for more than forty-five years, and a life-long resident of Toronto, Mary was born Jan 28, 1930 to James Gordon McCaul and Buddug Annie Wynne-Roberts.   Mary went to Rosedale Public School and Jarvis Collegiate Institute, and met her husband Ross George Snetsinger at Toronto Normal School, which became Toronto Teacher’s College, where they shared a deep love of puppetry and the planet. Towsley, Scott Harrison. Passed away on January 4, 2022 in Toronto at age 51. Will be greatly missed by his partner Jennifer, and his children Brent and Nikolas. Survived by his mother Linda, sister Lori, and brother Richard, as well as many friends and extended family. Predeceased by his father Donald and brother Steven. Ralph Geoffrey Parker passed away suddenly in his 58th year on Saturday, January 1st, 2022. He is survived by his four children Crissy, Allison, Nicholas, and Amanda, and his grandchildren Axel and Thomas. Ralph was a longtime employee of Biederman Packaging in Dundas ON.
