On Wednesday, June 30, 2021, Allan Edward Jacobs passed away at his home in Kensington Gardens, Toronto at the age of 82.  Carol E. Roup, Allan’s loyal and loving companion, was by his side. Allan was born on August 7, 1938, to Edward John Henry Jacobs and Elsie May [Harris] Jacobs in Toronto, Ontario. CARTER, John June 10, 1927 – June 15, 2021 John passed away on June 15th, 2021, peacefully in the late afternoon at Trillium Hospital, Mississauga. He was born in London, England and was the second youngest of five children, all having predeceased him. As a WWII veteran who served in the Royal Scots Desert Rats regiment of the British Army of the Rhine (BAOR), he immigrated to Canada in 1949 where he worked briefly as a Survey Rod and Chainman in Port Arthur/Fort William before finding work in Toronto in the grocery business. It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of John “Johnny” Sarotar at the age of 65 in Toronto Ontario. John was born in Yugoslavia in 1955. He moved to Toronto in his early teens with his mother, where he  remained the rest of his years. Ian was born in Montreal and moved to New Brunswick at the age of three, growing in and attending school in both Saint John and Fredericton. Eduvigis ‘Edith’ Banzon Yenko, 87, of the Philippines, passed away on the 15th of May, 2021 after a 5 month battle with surgical complications. Edith was born on January 27th, 1934 to her parents in Bataan at the height of the Japanese Occupation during World War II. She graduated from the University of the Philippines with a degree in Pharmacy. Soon after she met her first husband Raquel, and had a lovely daughter, Solita.
