Passed peacefully, in his 91st year, at St Michael’s Hospital with his huge extended family hugging him from afar. Born and raised in Ottawa, the youngest of seven siblings, he led a full and adventurous life as an accomplished patent lawyer for over 60 years. At 16, he attended Queen’s University as an avid student and varsity skier all while studying chemical engineering. He then completed his law degree at Osgoode Hall Law School while proudly serving in the naval reserve. Age 27 – it is with shock and deep sadness that we share the news of Katie’s passing on October 16, 2020 as a result of a cardiopulmonary event at Scarborough Grace Hospital, Toronto. Katie is survived by her loving parents Ken McLeod (Bernie) and Debra Edwards (Dan), brothers Trevor (Shireen) and Colin (Chelsey). She is greatly missed by her sweetheart, Andrew Harrison and best friend, Jessica Wintergerst. Jan 19,1933 – October 21, 2020 Peacefully at Bridgepoint Health after a lengthy struggle with cancer. Doreen was born in London, England and trained at Wig Creations as a theatrical wigmaker. She worked at the National Theatre with clients including Vivien Leigh and Laurence Olivier. After marrying a Canadian, Laurie Freeman, she built a stellar career at the Stratford and Shaw Festivals, making wigs for Maggie Smith, Martha Henry, and large cast of other company actors.
