On Thursday July 19th 2018. It was an ordinary day for most people. It was his last day with us. Frank passed away with a friend by his side at home in his 53rd year. The good times, the hugs, the caring words, the tough hand, and all the acts of kindness and laughter have become memories. Frank worked for the TTC for 24 yrs. He was a proud member of the Amalgamated Transit Union. Loving son of Josephine and brother of Cathy, George and Heather (Margaret). He will be missed by many more family and friends. Thomas Colville Gibson, aged 88, passed peacefully due to Parkinson's on July7, 2018, surrounded by his loving family, care givers and community at Kennsington Gardens Nursing Home in Toronto, Ontario Thomas was born in Altrincham, Great Britain, by Herbert Gibson and Jean Lindsay Dakers Gordon Gibson After high school Tom had a year of teachers college and began his teaching career in a one room school house. DR. CARL THEOHAR 1937-2018 Carl was the son of Kaliopi and the late Norman Theohar, brother of Ruth Playfair and Boris Theohar (Jacquie Gillies), uncle to Joseph Playfair and Emma Playfair, and grand uncle to Will, Palmer, and Jack Schnarr. He was a kind, giving, intelligent and self-sacrificing presence in all our lives, always our backup. A wonderful gardener too. He ended his practice of Psychiatry in January 2018, and died on June 28, 2018, of pancreatic cancer. Carl cared for his family, his friends and his patients with humanity and wisdom. Toivo Eric Limit passed away on June 9th 2018. Toivo was a very kind, gentle and friendly man whom would often strike up conversations with those whom he had just met and by character he could be quite playful and a jokester. He possessed a rare unconditional love for his sons and was very proud of them and he had a high ideal for fatherhood. Although his sons live in Estonia, he loved speaking with them, which was often one of the highlights of his week. Toivo was very proud of his Estonian roots.
