Born in Sydney, N.S., Bill was the son of the late Bernie and Marion (Burt). It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of John Lenny Hamm on January 19th at Lakeridge Health Center, where he peacefully succumbed to pneumonia at age 94. He was the beloved son of George Hamm, and cherished husband of Ruth Higgens, with whom he is now re-united. He will be deeply missed by his daughter, Maureen, his son in Michael and his daughter in law, Maria, to whom he was always an anchor. It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Helen Elizabeth (Betty) Fraser (nee Kay). Betty passed away at home on Wednesday, January 17th, 2018, at the age of 81. She was the dear daughter of the late Albert Edward and Edith Cavell (Taylor) Kay. Through the way she lived her life, Betty taught us all lessons about love, compassion, understanding and acceptance. Her strength and independence were an inspiration and a comfort; she was an emergency room nurse for over 40 years, a generous neighbour, a rescuer of stray cats, and the center of her family. Elizabeth Costa (Mamma) passed away this Thursday, January 18, 2018 at the age of 84. She was born on March 11, 1933 in Turda, Romania. She moved to Canada on April 27 1977. She is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, Mr. Ludovic Costa and daughters Violet (Euguene) Nichita and Judita (Michele) De Marco. May 10,1951-December 13,2017 Helen Hutter, Of Barrie, Ontario, passed away on Wednesday December 13, at the age of 66, after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was the daughter of the late Lotte and the late Ted Kokoszka of Angus. She will lovingly be remembered by her children David (the late Margaret), Candice (James) and her 4 grandsons Matthew, Travis, Dylan and Devon. She will be missed by her Fur-baby Toby.
