On January 31, 2017 Elizabeth passed away peacefully at Bridgepoint Hospital, Toronto, in her 68th year following a brief illness with cancer. Born in St. Catharines, Ontario, on September 14, 1949 to Cecil and Anita Skerrett. Elizabeth was warm, compassionate, generous and a valued member of the Cabbagetown Community, most notably through her thousands of hours of charity work at both Saint Luke’s United Church and Dixon Hall Meals-on-Wheels program.
