Dear Mrs. Kelleher,
I have a photo of Frank and I walking down Young Street in the early ’50s when it was being dug up for the subway that I would like to send you. Perhaps you may heard of his and my trip down to White Plains N.Y. in my 1030 Willys Whippet to visit your relatives there. What an adventure! Also an interesting trip to Wassaga Beach one summer weekend when we had a run in with a really difficult policeman which is defused when it turned out that his boss was a native of Whitby and a friend of my father. It turned out that Frank had a an innocent pocket knife that flipped out like a switch blade. Anyway, my recollection is that Frank’s father worked for the TTC, and he had a very pretty sister. I didn’t quite know what to make of his mother however, other than to say that she seemed to be a very free spirit.
Anyway I was going over some old photos and found the one of Frank and I. Please advise if you would like a copy of it. And I’m sorry to hear of Frank’s passing.
